- Do net select very common key phrases for SEO
- Register a domain name that contains your main keyword/s
- Select three main keywords to be used in Main page title of your web site
- Use Google Sitemap and Google Web Master Tools to submit your web site to Google
- Always create an HTML sitemap to contain all pages of your web site for easy crawling and indexing.
- Never over optimize your web site to avoided getting banned by major search engines and keep keyword density within 8%.
- Avoid using excessive java scripts and image links. Try to use text links throughout your web site.
- Call java scripts from out side the page by creating a common file to contain all java and other scripts.
- Use your main keywords in the site menu, like instead of using “About Me” use “About SEO Consultant”
- Never use automated submission, always do manual submission in only selected web directories. Bulk submission doesn’t help your SEO campaign.
- Select only quality web site with relevant web contents for link exchange.
- Use your main keywords in Page headings.
- Always use H1 tags with all your page headings.
- Make use of alt-tags to insert your keywords
- Create “Link to Us” page and optimize it for “Link to (Your Main keyword/ services)” to automate your link building process.
